Are dermal fillers instant?

The results from dermal filler are instant once injected under the skin. The results will then improve over the next few weeks. dermal filler consists of hyaluronic acid which is hydrophilic. This then plumps the skin, stimulates collagen and elastin. Overall giving a more hydrated and youthful look to the skin.

Can dermal filler be removed?

Yes, dermal filler can be removed by the use of Hyalase. This is injected in the area of filler, which in turn breaks the filler down.


Is dermal filler safe?

Hyaluronic acid fillers generally are safe. However, like anything injectable there are also risks associated with this. Recent research advises that these risks are very rare and choosing an experienced medically qualified injector is best for patient safety. Is dermal filler permanent?

Dermal fillers have come a long way in the last few decades. Today’s hyaluronic acid fillers are not permanent. Typically the body absorbs them from 6-24 months. This is dependant on the type of filler chosen
